Sealing profiles

Custom sponge and solid silicone extrusions, including tubing, cords, and profiles, are used to seal lighting units, sensor housings, and electronic enclosures in aerospace and UAV systems.

Extreme Environments, Trusted Performance

From high-altitude UAV flights to helicopter missions in desert or arctic conditions, aerospace equipment must perform in environments that push materials to the limit. With roots in the aerospace sector through our Meggitt heritage, Silicone Engineering has decades of experience in delivering materials trusted for flight-critical applications.

Our solid and sponge silicone grades are engineered to perform in both static and dynamic aerospace environments, maintaining flexibility, compression recovery, and sealing integrity across a wide temperature range of -60°C to +230°C. With UL94 V-0 flame-retardant options available in our V-0 and 2D series, we also support fire-safe cabin interiors, avionics, and enclosures, helping to ensure safety and compliance in demanding aerospace systems.
