Our kSil™GP60 grade of silicone sheeting has now been tested and approved in accordance to 3A sanitary standard 18-03, class I. The classification is primarily associated with the food and dairy industry and aims to qualifiy materials suitable for both food contact and for use with cleaning and sanitising solutions.
The new standard improves the kSil™GP range of sheeting products that get used in both food and beverage applications as either gaskets or seals whilst also generating new opportunities for our sheeting customers.
As well as 3A, both our kSil™ and suraSil™ ranges are tested and approved in accordance to FDA, BfR and WRAS standards, which is why they are widely used in the food and beverage sector.
