Following a successful few days in Orlando, Silicone Engineering recently exhibited at the Gasketing & Converting (G/C) Expo 2026, hosted by the Gasket Fabricators Association at The Rosen Shingle Creek.

Held from 25th–27th March, the biennial event brings together fabricators, converters and material suppliers from across the industry, providing a valuable platform for networking, knowledge sharing and collaboration.

Connecting with Industry

Throughout the event, our team engaged with industry professionals to discuss real-world sealing challenges and explore how silicone materials continue to support performance in demanding applications.

From general industrial use through to more specialist requirements, conversations focused on reliability, environmental resistance and long-term sealing performance—key factors driving material selection across the sector.

Showcasing Silicone Solutions

On the stand, we presented a range of silicone sheeting and extrusion solutions, available in both solid and sponge.

This included materials suited to more demanding environments, such as military and defence applications, where performance in extreme temperatures, exposure conditions and critical sealing scenarios is essential.

Alongside this, we also highlighted kSil® FR100, our ultra-low density, flame-retardant silicone sponge. Now gaining traction across multiple industries, FR100 can be manufactured in thicknesses up to 40mm, offering lightweight sealing with enhanced fire performance for challenging applications.

A Valuable Industry Event

The G/C Expo continues to be a key event within the gasketing and converting industry, bringing together leading suppliers and decision-makers under one roof to explore new technologies and strengthen industry relationships.

It was great to connect with both new and familiar faces, and to discuss how silicone materials can support evolving application demands.

Looking Ahead

As a biennial event, the G/C Expo will return in the future as a key date in the industry calendar.

We look forward to attending again—see you next time.
