What is kSil®FR100?
kSil®FR100 is the latest innovation in Silicone Engineering’s kSil® range; it’s a flame-retardant, lightweight silicone sponge that provides excellent thermal insulation, fire safety and long-term environmental resistance.
Manufactured to the highest standards, this versatile material has been engineered for use in critical sealing, insulation and protection applications, where both performance and reliability are non-negotiable.
Available in sheet or roll form (up to 1m width) and supplied in standard white with optional pressure-sensitive adhesive backing, kSil®FR100 is suitable for die-cut gaskets, flexible seals and insulation components across multiple industries.

Thermal and flame performance in extreme environments
kSil®FR100 has been developed for environments where temperature extremes and fire safety are critical. Its wide temperature range means it remains flexible and functional from –60°C up to +230°C, while its flame-retardant performance ensures compliance with UL94 V-0 (vertical burn test) and FAR 25/JAR 25 (aerospace flammability standards).
This combination makes it perfectly suited for use in aerospace and transport systems, battery enclosures and thermal barriers, where both lightweight design and safety certification are paramount.
