Silicone Engineering Contributing to Philippines Disaster
Silicone Engineering has this month contributed to relief efforts over in the Philippines after Typhoon Haiyan struck the country causing devastation.
It was a call from an innovative water storage company who needed a number of solid silicone gaskets for their jerry cans that were being sent to The Philippines. The special jerry cans can purify water which can be used for drinking or bathing. When natural disasters occur such as Typhoon Haiyan, clean drinking water helps save lives of thousands of people.
We are proud to be contributing to such an important process and we hope the jerry cans provide the safe drinking water that is needed in this desperate time.
