A new year brings two new starters to the Silicone Engineering team.
Crawford Niven and Lauren Millington joined the team this month and will be working in the Quality and Commercial offices respectfully.
Crawford joins us as the new Quality Manager bringing with him his experience in quality management in both the Foam and Automotive sectors. Before joining Silicone Engineering, Crawford worked for Jaguar Land Rover where he was in charge of implementing and improving company standards and capabilities.
We asked Crawford about his new role and what he is looking forward to “I’m looking forward to learning about the silicone industry as a whole and implementing new procedures and practices to help further improve the already impressive set up at Silicone Engineering.”
Lauren joins us off the back of an exciting year travelling in SE Asia and Australia. Before this she worked at Blackburn Chemicals in the customer service department where she was in charge of coordinating logistics and completing customs documents. She will be joining the UK team handling quotations and order processing.
Lauren said “I’m looking forward to the challenge of getting to know all of the silicone products here and being able to develop good relationships with the wide customer base.”
