It wasn’t so much the snow but the silicone that decended in Vienna.
As reported in our last newsletter, Silicone Engineering headed to Vienna, Austria for the Silicone Elastomers World Summit 2014. The event was a resounding success with the company getting some great exposure from sponsoring the event and also gained insights into new, exciting silicone developments from leaders in the field.
The Silicone Elastomers World Summit brings together industry experts in the global silicone arena for a chance to network and interact with fellow silicone professionals.
With presentations from the likes of Dow Corning, Momentive and Braun, the summit gives a fascinating insight into the future of silicone rubber and its applications within various markets, allowing Silicone Engineering to look towards future material developments for the latest applications.
The exhibition gave us the platform to introduce ourselves to the sector’s leading figures and to showcase our materials to a wider global audience.
Looking forward into 2015, we are excited to start exploring new technologies that were highlighted at the conference, all of which will contribute to future material development.
