To support the victims of the war in Ukraine, Silicone Engineering has been gathering donations to
provide help to those displaced by the war. Our donation effort has been coordinated by Dariia Shepel, Head of Commercial & Marketing at Silicone Engineering.
Dariia, who is Ukrainian herself said: “Everyone at work have been so supportive and generous and it means a lot to know that even being far away, we can do a little to help those escaping the atrocities of the war. We specifically focused on helping displaced women and children, as we focus our efforts on providing comfort, sanitary and hygienic items, and some basic food items. The van with the first part of our donations left for the Transcarpathian region early this morning and will be reaching Ukraine this weekend.”
Our thoughts are with the people of Ukraine and everyone affected. We share a common humanity, and all conflicts near and far affect us all. What we can collect will be forwarded to the Ukrainian House in Manchester over the weekend which will then depart to Western Ukraine soon after.
