Silicone Engineering is delighted to support CHILDREN with CANCER UK and have been helping the charity’s research into fighting against childhood cancer, by donating monies this month.
CHILDREN with CANCER UK is a charity which funds life-saving research into the causes, prevention and treatment of childhood cancer and protects young lives through essential welfare programmes across the UK.
Each year, Silicone Engineering raises money for a nominated charity and has therefore decided for the year ahead, to make CHILDREN with CANCER UK its charity of the year.
Clare Holden, Finance Controller at Silicone Engineering added; “It’s important to support a charity such as CHILDREN with CANCER UK, with their research into finding treatments and cures that could potentially help young children live a healthier life.”
As a company who are always seeking different ways of give something back, Silicone Engineering have been a part of a recent campaign run by the UK based charity. This involves creating a star with a personal message and adding it to a tree on the charity’s website, alongside making a voluntary donation, which will raise awareness of childhood cancer.
Our aim as a company is to support CHILDREN with CANCER UK in their work, to determine causes, find cures and to give children a better chance in their fight against cancer.
