The 11th InnoTrans rail exhibition was a resounding success hosted in the German capital of Berlin.
The show held at Messe Berlin played host to approximately 3000 exhibitors spread over 26 halls. Exhibitors from around the world showcased the latest technology for the global rail sector including Silicone Engineering where we launched our latest range of silicone rubber materials for rail interiors.
Silicone Engineering had a successful show, making new contacts and discussing potential projects where our silicone materials can be used to improve sealing and insulation performance within rail interiors.
We launched our latest silicone sponge grade kSil™V-0, formulated especially for the Mass Transit market. EN45545-2 compliant, the closed cell sponge has excellent compression set for high performance sealing as well as being flame resistant to UL94V-0.
InnoTrans yet again provided a platform for exhibitors to come together to innovate, design and improve what is a rapidly growing sector. The range of new products on show was phenomenal and is testament to how the industry is constantly evolving.
