This month we have had a visit from our American office, they are the first point of contact for Silicone Engineering’s commercial business partnerships, over in North America.
This is an annual visit to the UK headquarters of Silicone Engineering, to meet Directors of the company as well as other new members of the American sales team. The visit consisted of a factory tour of new machines and automated equipment that have been implemented within the last year to boost productivity and a chance for sales to take a look at new product developments currently being created and tested at Silicone Engineering’s in-house laboratory.
The main reason for this visit was for the North American commercial team to plan and discuss future opportunities taking place in North America; this will be followed up by a number of commercial visits to North America in March 2013.
Paul Kinsella, Managing Director and Antony Peel, Commercial & Marketing Director at Silicone Engineering will be conducting these commercial visits to progress North America activities and business interests, in addition to promoting Silicone Engineering’s new products and operations.
As part of the visit the directors at Silicone Engineering gave the North American team a taste of spice by taking them out to a local curry house.
Paul said: “January was the perfect time for the visit from the American office as it gave a rare opportunity for the whole team to sit, discuss and review our North American opportunities for 2013.”
Overall, the whole team enjoyed a productive and informative few days here at Silicone Engineering, even though it was a little frosty in comparison to sunny L.A!
