The Best of 2016 - What a Year!
2016 has been one of those crazy years hasn't it, where do we start?
- Brexit happened
- Donald Trump happened
- The Queen turned 90
- Leicester City won the Premier League
- Pokemon Go got people walking around aimlessly
- Astronaut Tim Peake completed his space mission
- Andy Murray won Wimbledon for the second time
- The British athletics team brought home a record number of medals
And sadly we said goodbye to so many legends - David Bowie, Prince, Mohammed Ali, Alan Rickman, Lemmy Kilmister, Leonard Cohen, Victoria Wood, Ronnie Corbett, Andrew Sachs, Gene Wilder and Caroline Aherne.
We can certainly say it has been eventful. Here are some of Silicone Engineering's highlights from 2016:
Silicone Engineering on Track in Berlin
September saw Silicone Engineering exhibiting at global rail exhibition InnoTrans.
The 11th InnoTrans rail exhibition was a resounding success hosted in the German capital of Berlin. Exhibitors from around the world showcased the latest technology for the global rail sector including Silicone Engineering where we launched our latest range of silicone rubber materials for rail interiors.
Dusseldorf Welcomes Silicone Engineering
October was the month of K Show 2016. The Silicone Engineering team had a great show and welcomed lots of new and familiar faces on our stand. This year's show was our best yet with lots of opportunities to pursue.
Welcome to the Team!
Our French office expanded and we welcomed a new member to the team in Anaïs Rheims. Joining Melanie Bernardeau (Head of Sales Europe) and Hélène Baudoin (Senior Sales Coordinator) in our French office located in Rennes, Anaïs is supporting the team for two years during her sandwich course at university.
After all that, I think we all need a festive break to get ready for the new year.
Lets hope 2017 brings more exciting times!!!
